Inaugurated in the year of 1967, at old Haji Camp Timber Market (Karachi, Pakistan), with the company/firm name of “Salim Brothers” under the guidance of Mr. Salim Motiwala (Late). SMT is the second generation company and changed their name in 2001 — now operating as SM Traders.
SMT successfully ranked as the top wholesalers/importers of a qualitative array of all Wood and Plastic solutions, such as PVC BOARD, CEMENT FIBRE BOARD, MDF BOARD, HDF BOARD, PLYWOOD, SOFT WOOD, HARD WOOD, FLUSH DOORS, SOLID WOODEN DOORS and all kinds of Hardware tools and complete range of building materials including PVC Pipes and Fittings.
